How much does scaffolding cost per week?+
Weekly hire varies with size, height and access. A typical residential single-lift scaffold starts from around £250 for the first week, with reduced weekly rates thereafter. Every G-Scaff quote is fixed after a free site survey - no surprises.
Do I need a permit for scaffolding?+
If your scaffold overhangs a public pavement or road, most councils require a permit / highway licence. G-Scaff will advise and arrange this as part of your quote for jobs in Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and surrounding areas.
How quickly can you erect scaffolding?+
For standard residential jobs we can usually mobilise within 48–72 hours. Emergency and industrial jobs are booked in as fast as safety and design work allow - call us to discuss urgency.

Residential vs commercial scaffolding - what's the difference?+
Residential scaffolding tends to be smaller, single-property access for roofing, rendering or extensions. Commercial scaffolding covers larger elevations, multi-tenant sites, pedestrian gantries and works with strict programme and H&S requirements.
